Ingredients

Cream cheese base
  • 16 oz cream cheese Softened to room temperature for a smooth, lump-free texture.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp nutmeg
  • 8 oz whipped topping Thawed so it folds in without streaks.
Caramel and crunch
  • 0.5 cup caramel sauce Use for a thick drizzle swirl on top.
  • 0.5 cup crushed graham crackers
For serving
  • apple slices For dipping.
  • pretzels For dipping.
  • graham crackers Extra for dipping.

Equipment

  • 1 hand mixer

Method

Make the cheesecake base
  1. Beat the softened cream cheese until completely smooth, scraping the sides as needed so no lumps remain. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then beat until the mixture looks fluffy and cohesive.
  2. Fold in the thawed whipped topping until no streaks remain. Stop as soon as the texture is uniform so it stays light.
Chill and set
  1. Spread the mixture into a serving bowl, smoothing the top for an even surface. Refrigerate for 1 hour to set the dip.
Finish and serve
  1. Before serving, drizzle caramel sauce over the top in a swirl pattern. Scatter the crushed graham crackers over the surface so they adhere to the caramel and top layer.
  2. Serve immediately with apple slices, pretzels, and extra graham crackers for dipping.

Notes

For the smoothest dip, make sure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing; cold cream cheese will stay lumpy even after beating. Refrigerate covered for up to 3 days; the caramel and graham topping look best added right before serving. Freezing is not recommended because whipped topping texture can change after thawing. If you want a lighter option, use low-fat whipped topping (still thawed) to reduce calories without changing the method.
